A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State for the 2027 elections and Chancellor/Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI), Prof. Wale Sulaiman, has expressed deep condolences to the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Hadji Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, over the death of his mother, Hajia Sifawu Yusuf.
In a condolence message signed by Prof. Sulaiman, described the late Hajia Sifawu Yusuf as a devoted matriarch whose life reflected humility, compassion, and dedicated service to her family and the wider community.

He noted that her passing represents a great loss not only to the Yusuf family but also to the people of Igbaja community and the entire Ifelodun Local Government Area, where she was widely respected for her motherly guidance and moral influence.
The APC stalwart also extended his sympathies to Mr. Yusuf Olayinka, one of the step-sons of the deceased, as well as other members of the Yusuf family during this difficult time.
Prof. Sulaiman prayed that Almighty Allah grants the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss and asked that the late matriarch’s shortcomings be forgiven.
He also prayed that Allah grants her eternal rest and admits her into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
