Kwara United have booked their place in the final of the ongoing Gusau Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament after defeating Nasarawa United 2–0 in the semi-final on Tuesday at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
Abdulsalam Abdulsalam opened the scoring for the Harmony Boys in the 45th minute, giving Kwara United a 1–0 lead heading into the break.
At the restart, Sanni Mohammed made no mistake as he doubled the advantage with another brilliant finish to put Kwara United firmly in control.

Goalkeeper Suraj Ayeleso was also outstanding between the posts, making several brilliant saves to deny the Solid Miners any opportunity of staging a comeback.
Abdulsalam Abdulsalam was named Man of the Match following his impressive performance.
Coach Ashifat Sulyman praised his players for maintaining their momentum throughout the tournament, adding that the team would continue to build and improve on its performance ahead of the fast-approaching NPFL season.
Kwara United will face Ranchers Bees in Thursday’s final.
