Tinubu, Akpabio in closed-door meeting at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Our correspondent observed Akpabio’s official S-Class Mercedes sedan pull up at the forecourt of the President’s office at exactly 6:12 pm on Tuesday.

At the time of his arrival, the Minister of Information and National Orientation was reportedly meeting with the President.

The agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed.

Tuesday’s meeting comes hours before the official commencement of campaigns on August 19 ahead of the 2027 elections, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
