JUST IN: Tinubu Awards Super Eagles With MON Merit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has awarded the Super Eagles a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honour in recognition of their exceptional performance at the recently concluded 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

Also, each player was given a flat and a plot of land in the FCT.

AFCON by the host country, Ivory Coast.

Abuja, on Tuesday, they were presented the titles and offered other gifts.

The officials and all the players were in attendance.

Nigerians who have received the national award include HRM Eze Isaac Ikonne, Imam Abdullahi Abubakar, Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, Chief Silva Ejeh Ameh, Mallam Ibrahim Okposi, Alh. Kamoru Ibitoye Yusuf, Alhaji Shehu Uthman, Barr. Chris Ezem, Teni, and Davido.
