The MD/CEO of JLK Empire, Mr. Ajibade Folajimi, has said that smartphones and other smart gadgets are no longer luxury items but essential tools for everyday life in today’s digital world.
Speaking during the interview, Mr. Ajibade said smartphones have gone far beyond their traditional use for making calls and sending text messages.

According to him, they now play a vital role in banking, accessing business opportunities and information, education, healthcare, remote work and entertainment, making them a necessity for millions of Nigerians.
“He reiterated that, “Today, your smartphone is your office, your bank, where you can carry out transactions without having to stand before a cashier, your classroom and, for many Nigerians, their main business tool.
Owning a reliable device is no longer about social status; it is about staying connected to opportunities and getting things done,” said by the JLK Empire MD.
Mr. Folajimi recalled how the 2023 cash shortage pushed many Nigerians to embrace mobile banking and digital payments, further proving the importance of smartphones in everyday life.
According to him, many small businesses now depend on their phones to communicate with customers, receive payments, promote their products and manage daily operations.
The JLK Empire boss further stressed that quality matters when choosing a device and he reaffirmed his company commitment to making dependable technology accessible to Nigerians and by helping individuals and businesses thrive in this increasingly digital world through quality phones and gadget.
