An APC Chieftain, Businessman & Colourful Technocrat, Dr. Kolo Babajiya who hails from Padda in Patigi LGA of Kwara State, Kwara North Senatorial axis of the State. He is a formidable senior party man with large army of foot soldiers, admirers, supporters , friends, youths in his political camp.

Over the years, Dr. Babajiya has been a grassroots politician & mobilizer of note. His people really love him, stand by him and want him to lead/represent them in position of authority at the national level precisely as a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the National Assembly, Abuja.

The traditional institution recognizes this amiable politician as they have a level of respect and preference for him in the scheme of things. No doubt the electoral value of this Padda born humanitarian is overwhelming.

In view of the current political situation in Kwara State after the APC Party primaries this compelled this journalist to mirror the personality of Dr. Kolo Babajiya as an electoral asset that cannot be ignored in the present circumstance to enable other political parties to take advantage of this high profile politician and not to allow his political dream hit a dead end.

To get grassroots votes to enhance victories after a chaotic primary elections, personalities will count and in any calculations/permutations: Dr. Kolo Babajiya’s name will feature prominently.

Furthermore voters on several regions are exhausted by years of relentless political upheaval.

In year 2027, the electorate is increasingly hungry for stability and smooth governance. The voters want people they can trust with their political destinies as year 2031 is far away.

A visit to Patigi Local Government Area of the State unveils that APC family is unsettled with present arrangement of unpopular candidates filled for various elective offices with particular reference to Dr. Kolo Babajiya disqualified from contesting into the Red Chambers of the National Assembly come year 2027 without genuine reasons.

He demonstrated cross-regional appeal. Harkepatigi’s influence extend beyond his senatorial constituency, he is always available to support different groups/associations/individuals across the state in cash and kind. He is a colorful technocrat in leadership, a man who approaches matters with precision, discipline and uncommon vision.

That’s why on daily basis, at political functions and meetings, his name still commands respect and stir genuine excitement among the people, friends, well-wishers, colleagues and many others.

He is tested, trusted and an electoral asset, anytime, anyday, anywhere.

The media friendly and political gladiator in a telephone conversation with this journalist prayed God to grant President Bola Ahmed Tinubu & APC National Leader good health, more wisdom and courage to serve God and the Nation, saying is “One Nation, One Destiny”.

He stated further, “we must continue to advocate fairness, justice, equality and peaceful co-existence as a Nation and political party at all times as this is the tripod for survival of our nascent democracy”

Dr. Kolo Babajiya who holds the traditional title of HaskePatigi, Temokko Padda both in Patigi LGA shows readiness to be counted when it mattered most politically & otherwise, the Red Chamber aspirant remains an Electoral asset to be utilized by any available political party.

Widely regarded by the grassroots as a compassionate, friendly and refreshing figure, Dr. Kolo Babajiya is viewed by many as a definitive game changer who possesses the structural appeal to swing the pendulum of victory in his way in whatever political party .
