The Bigbro for Turaki Movement has called on health advocates, volunteers and community-minded individuals to join a one-hour advocacy and awareness session focused on Hepatitis screening and the importance of knowing one’s health status, THE PRIME NEWS reports.

The initiative, according to the organisers, is aimed at creating greater awareness about Hepatitis, educating members of the community and encouraging people to take proactive steps towards understanding and protecting their health.

The organisers invited individuals passionate about healthcare and community service to participate in the one-on-one advocacy session, describing it as an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to public health.

They stressed the importance of early detection and regular health screening, noting that increased awareness could help save lives and promote a healthier society.

The awareness session is scheduled to take place at Taiwo Isale, opposite Mamtes, Ilorin, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Bigbro for Turaki Movement urged interested health advocates and volunteers to signify their interest and join the initiative.

The organisers expressed optimism that the participation of committed individuals would help expand the reach of the campaign and encourage more members of the community to prioritise their health and wellbeing.
