PSG Sack Galtier, Name Nagelsmann as Replacement

Christophe Galtier has been sacked from his position as manager of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Galtier was appointed on On 5 July 2022 as a replacement Mauricio Pochettino.

According to Le Parisien Reports The club is now strongly considering Julian Nagelsmann as his potential replacement according to L’Equipe

Luis Campos, the Portuguese Sporting Advisor, broke the news to Galtier, informing him that he is no longer the manager of PSG. Campos had brought Galtier to Parc des Princes from OGC Nice at the start of the season, having previously collaborated with him during their time at Lille OSC.

Despite leading the team to victory in the Ligue 1 title race, PSG’s early exit from the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich, as well as a loss to Olympique de Marseille in the Coupe de France, raised concerns. Galtier’s dismissal does not come as a surprise, particularly as L’Équipe reports that he himself had anticipated this outcome.
