An aspirant for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ademola Bello, has appealed to party members and his supporters to remain calm and peaceful as the party concludes its nomination process.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bello expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to participate in what he described as a defining democratic process, while appreciating the commitment of party leaders, campaign coordinators, supporters and members of his media team.
He thanked them for their dedication, sacrifices and unwavering belief in his vision for the constituency, noting that their support represented a commitment to a shared cause rather than to an individual.

Bello also commended party faithful and stakeholders who, according to him, stood up to protect the integrity of the APC’s democratic process, describing their vigilance as a reflection of the party’s commitment to fairness, progress, and inclusion.
The APC aspirant urged his supporters to avoid spreading rumours or engaging in actions capable of undermining the ongoing process, stressing the need to allow the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to complete its assignment without interference.
“I urge us all to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. Let us resist rumours and actions that could weaken the process. Let us give our party, the APC National Working Committee, the space to complete its work with fairness and wisdom,” he said.
Bello expressed confidence in the leadership of the APC, saying he trusted the party’s internal democratic process and believed its leaders would take decisions in the overall interest of the party and the people.
He maintained that party supremacy must remain paramount, adding that the contest was about strengthening the APC ahead of future electoral victories rather than advancing individual ambitions.
According to him, despite the competition among aspirants, members of the party remain one family united by the common goal of serving the people and promoting the ideals of the APC.
He further assured supporters that if entrusted with the party’s mandate, he would provide inclusive leadership rooted in humility, integrity, fairness and justice.
Bello pledged to carry along supporters of all aspirants, insisting that unity remains the party’s greatest strength.
He concluded by urging party members to remain hopeful and focused while praying for God’s guidance for the APC, Kwara State and Nigeria.
