On the 4th July, 2025, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, (CON), appointed Elder Benjamin Ayankunle Ayanshola, JP as the Substantive Provost of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa.
Marking One Year of purpose & service in uplifting the college to be able to complete favourably in the comity of professional Colleges in the country.


The appointment of the College administrator one year signaled new initiatives and ability to balance discipline, hardwork, accreditation of courses of study by the National Board of Technical Education (NBE) Kaduna, improving on conducive environment for learning & teaching, providing infrastructure, providing security in the college community for staff & students and improving on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) among many areas of achievements by the provost.
The fact remains that, Elder Benjamin Ayankunle Ayanshola, JP is not new to the College Administration, it’s a familiar terrain haven’t served as Registrar & Secretary to Governing Council of the College. The Uplift task, the provost had in the earlier days of his administration was restoring confidence, discipline and stability into the system.
Hear him, “let me register my loads of gratitude to the Registrar, Alhaji Soliudeen Babatunde and management staff who fell in line with the management of change that the Ayanshola regime brought with act of seriousness”. They were all a standing pilar of my administration. When I look back, I remain grateful to the entire college community that we are working in the right direction.

This journalist noted the leadership style of Elder Ayanshola, JP anchored on the tripod of hardwork, discipline and determination, alongside duo ploy of communication channels that encourages accountability and feedback.
The provost ensured that his open door policy and free flow of information is genuine to the success of his regime. At every point in time he keeps reminding students to present their problem(s) for prompt attention advising the Director of Students Affairs (DSA) Mallam Sajajudeen Abdulazeez Oladipo to come forward at anytime to discuss issues affecting the students for quick and decisive action.
With all these steps taken, general administration of the college became smooth, noiseless and positive action(s) were taken to move the college forward to enhance noticeable development of peaceful co-existence, students pursuing their programmes in a most conducive atmosphere, no lateness to work or indolence, absenteeism is forbidden, students and staff are identified with their identification card on and lecturers/knowledge impactors willing to give extra lectures hours, even on weekends.
Elder Benjamin Ayanshola, JP is not glued to his swivel chair, he goes round to see that lecture hours are not wasted, inspects the environmental sanitation of the college premises, visit the mini market where the students take their meals & cold drinks that the arena is free of social vices, college clinic and ICT center is not spared in the daily/weekly inspection.
The journey of the Provost in the last One year stands as a journey through the corridors of power that stands as a testament to discipline, excellence and purposeful leadership. No doubt Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has a level of confidence in him while assigning him this unique appointment.
This gentleman administrator has not faltered nor failed in course of this assignment. He has played his role(s) creditably & excellently with the highest ideals of public service – dedication.
Elder Ayanshola, JP worthy in character, an effervescent scholar with wholesome experience that parades a glittering credentials with cheerful disposition need to supported by all and sundry in taking the college to a commendable level.
